What it does
It is the name builder of the "Export" window (Esporta tavole), the "Preview" button of the "1 · Selection" tab. It tries a naming pattern for sheets and one for views, with fixed text, separators and fields such as {sheet_number} or {Numero tavola}, {date:yyyy-MM-dd}, {time:HHmm}, {user} and {param:Name} for a parameter of the sheet or of Project Information; it also tries a prefix, a suffix and a folder with variables.
It returns:
- the patterns used, also with the Italian labels of the fields;
- prefix, suffix, folder and the resulting folder, with the subfolder of each active format;
- for each sheet or view, the file name it would get;
- unknown fields and folder variables that would stay empty.
With no sheets or views given, it uses the first 5 sheets and a few views as examples.
How it works
- Your AI proposes a pattern (or uses the one in the settings) and chooses which sheets or views to try it on.
- BIMit reads the field and parameter values in Revit and builds the names and the folder as the export would.
- You see the resulting names in the conversation; if you like them, your AI can use the pattern to export or save it in the settings with the tools of the Profiles package.

What changes and how to undo
Nothing: the tool saves nothing. The pattern, prefix, suffix and folder you try apply only to this answer; the model and the export settings stay as they are.
Limits
- Works at the AI level "Read".
- An empty field leaves no double separators and characters Windows does not allow are removed, as in the export.
