What it does
Returns the names of the parameters available for the export, in two alphabetical lists:
- for sheets: the parameters of the sheets and of Project Information;
- for views: the parameters of the views and of Project Information.
These are the names to use for the extra columns of the list and for the {param:Name} fields in file naming patterns and in the export folder, like the "Parameter…" choice and the extra columns of the "Export" window (Esporta tavole).
How it works
- Your AI calls the tool, with no parameters.
- BIMit reads in Revit the parameters of the first 30 sheets and the first 30 exportable views, and those of Project Information.
- Your AI receives the two lists and uses them, for example, to write a naming pattern with a project parameter.
Example requests
- "Which sheet parameters can I use in the file name?"
- "Do the sheets have a Drawing Code parameter?"
- "Which Project Information parameters can I put in the folder path?"
What changes and how to undo
Nothing: the tool only reads and changes neither the model nor any file.
Limits
- Works at the AI level "Read".
- The names come from the first 30 sheets and views: a parameter found only on later sheets or views may not appear.
