What it does
Returns to your AI the guide to the JSON format of BIMit's WBS configuration, the one used by the "WBS" window and by the other tools of the package. Your AI reads it before creating or changing a configuration.
The guide describes:
- the general settings: name, separator, placeholder, shared parameter file to take the parameters from (only read), parameter group, whether to write incomplete elements or elements to review, whether to skip nested families;
- the parameters defined once for the whole project and the included categories (internal names such as OST_Walls), with only the differences recorded per category;
- the sources of a value: fixed text, a Project Information field, a property of the element, a code chosen from a list, several parameters joined into the complete code;
- how a code is chosen, in this order: corrections by family and type, rules with conditions, conversion table (for example level → L01), code list with keywords and parent, fallback value;
- the states of an element: complete, to review, incomplete, no rules;
- the recommended way of working, from the reading tools to writing into the model, or the Excel dictionary as an alternative.
How it works
- Your AI calls the tool, without parameters, before writing a configuration.
- BIMit returns the text of the guide; the model is not read.
- With the guide your AI prepares the configuration, which you then check with Save configuration and Code preview.
Example requests
- "Prepare a WBS for this model with project, level and discipline."
- "How do I write a WBS rule that gives a code to the exterior walls?"
- "Explain how BIMit decides an element's code."
What changes and how to undo
Nothing: the tool only returns a text and changes neither the model nor any file.
Parameters
No parameters.
