What it does
Gives your AI the summary to continue a project without starting from scratch:
- what the project is, its working folder and its models, with those open now in Revit;
- the last summary and the open to-dos;
- recent decisions, conventions and lessons;
- the latest emails and documents filed;
- the latest diary actions, day by day, and the code run;
- the Motore project, if there is one.
The summary can be short (a few lines), medium (default) or complete. Your AI calls it at the start of work on a project.
When no project is given it uses the conversation's active project, otherwise the one of the active document in Revit (or of the document given). When the project is given or already active, it becomes the active project of the conversation.
How it works
- You ask your AI to resume a project, or you open the model and ask where you were.
- BIMit writes the latest pending actions to the diary, then reads the project record, the notes, the archive and the diary and, if Revit is open, which of the project's models are open.
- Your AI sums up where you left off and what is left to do.
Example requests
- "Let's resume the project Santo Stefano: where did we leave off?"
- "Where are we with the work on this model?"
- "Give me the complete summary of project C24-017."
What changes and how to undo
Nothing: the model and the project files do not change. The tool reads and, when the project is given or already active, keeps it as the conversation's active project.
Limits
- With Revit closed you must name the project (or have one active in the conversation): without Revit there is no active document to recognize it from.
- If the active document is not linked to any project, the tool says so and asks for the project.
- If Revit is busy, the open models are the ones last seen, and the answer says so.
