What it does
Lists the BIMit projects (one per project or job) and the areas (subjects that are not projects) that BIMit keeps on this PC, from the most recent activity to the oldest. For each one:
- id, name, aliases and client;
- working folder and linked models;
- date of the last activity and number of open to-dos;
- which of its models are open now in Revit.
The answer also says which project is active in the conversation, which project the active document in Revit is linked to (or that it is linked to none), where the projects folder and the Arrivi folder are (usually Documents\BIMit\Commesse and Documents\BIMit\Arrivi) and how many there are in total. Your AI uses it to choose with you the project of the conversation or of a document not linked yet.
With a search text, only the projects whose id, name, client, description or alias contains that text are kept.
How it works
- Your AI calls the tool when you ask about your projects or when an open document is not linked to any.
- BIMit reads the projects on your PC and, if Revit is open, checks which documents are open. With Revit closed the list still comes, without the open models.
- You see the list in your AI's answer. If there is no project yet, your AI asks you for name and code to create one.

What changes and how to undo
Nothing: the tool only reads; it changes neither the model nor the project files.
Limits
- Returns 20 projects unless you ask for a different number (at most 200); the answer says how many there are in total.
- If Revit is busy, the open documents are the ones last seen, and the answer says so.
