What it does
Removes from the export queue, or puts back, individual sheet × format rows: for example sheet 312345 in DWG only, or one sheet in every format. Removed rows stay removed in the model's settings until you put them back, so later exports skip them too. It can also put back all removed rows at once and set the page order of the combined PDF.
It is the equivalent of the "Put back", "Restore all", "Up" and "Down" buttons in the "3 · Create" tab of the BIMit "Export" window (Esporta tavole).
How it works
- Your AI names the rows to remove or put back as "id:format" (or just the sheet or view, for all formats) and, if needed, the page order of the combined PDF.
- BIMit finds the sheets and views in Revit (by number, name or id) and updates the export settings linked to the model, saving them in the .json preset.
- You get the updated list of removed rows and the page order of the combined PDF. If a sheet or a format does not exist, nothing is saved and the answer says which one.
Example requests
- "Take the DWG of sheet A-000 Cover out of the queue."
- "Put back in the queue all the rows I had removed."
- "In the combined PDF put A-000 first, then A-101 and A-102; the others after."
What changes and how to undo
Only the export settings linked to the model change (the .json preset, the same one the "Export" window opens): the excluded rows and the order of the combined PDF. The Revit model is not touched.
To undo: put the rows back with "rimetti" (or all of them with "ripristina_tutte") and give the page order again with "ordine_pdf"; the same operations can be done in the "3 · Create" tab of the window.
Limits
AI level required: Write (it writes a file on this PC).
- Valid formats are pdf, dwg, dgn, dwf (also dwfx), nwc, ifc, img and data.
- In "ordine_pdf", the sheets and views not listed follow the listed ones.
- Removed rows apply both to the export from the window and to the export you ask your AI for; Export queue shows them as removed.
