What it does
Does what "Load" does in BIMit's "Export" window (Esporta tavole): the chosen profile's settings become the model's export settings and are saved in the linked preset.
What belongs to the model stays: export history, saved selections, scheduled exports, per-item settings and excluded items, the order of the combined PDF. If the profile has no destination folder, BIMit uses Documents\BIMit\Exports\{model_name}.
How it works
- Your AI picks the profile, usually after listing them with Profiles.
- BIMit puts the profile's settings into the model's preset and saves it.
- Your AI receives the applied profile, the preset's path and the new settings.
Example requests
- "Use the Submission PDF+DWG profile for this model."
- "Apply the office profile and tell me which folder the files will go to."
What changes and how to undo
The export preset linked to the model changes (if there was none, BIMit creates it in Documents\BIMit\<model>_Esporta.json and links it). The profile and the Revit model do not change.
Ctrl+Z does not undo this change, because it is in a file. The previous settings are not kept aside: to be able to go back, first save them as a profile with Save profile, then apply that profile again.
Limits
AI level required: Write, which only you choose in Revit. Profile names are not case-sensitive; if the profile does not exist, the tool stops and your AI receives the list of profiles.
