What it does
Returns to your AI the elements selected in Revit at this moment: for each one, id, category and name. It is the simplest way to tell the AI "these ones": you select in Revit and then ask it to work on the selection.
How it works
- You select the elements in Revit as usual.
- Your AI reads the selection; BIMit returns id, category and name of each selected element.
- Your AI uses the ids with the other tools, for example to read their parameters.

- "Read the selection and tell me which categories the elements belong to."
- "Take the selected elements and check their parameters."
What changes and how to undo
Nothing: the tool only reads. The selection, the model and files do not change.
