Developer preview, coming soon. In BIMit 2.1.1 this tool (CAD → BIM package) is only in the developer's version: in the public beta it does not appear on the tab, in the pane or in "All tools", and your AI does not see it. With the developer's version, Paulo offers modelling and consulting.
What it does
Draws a PNG picture to check a plan against its drawing. The drawing is in gray and the plan is on top:
- walls as bands, colored by thickness;
- doors in red, with their swing, and windows in blue, with their code;
- columns;
- separation lines dashed in magenta;
- rooms with name and area (written in the drawing / closed by the walls) and each room's space colored by the check: green ok, yellow close, red to look at;
- unresolved items as numbered red circles.
It can frame the whole plan, a rectangle, or the surroundings of a point (for example a room or an unresolved item). Without a plan it shows the drawing alone.
The picture is drawn from the vectors: the same plan always gives the same picture. It changes nothing.
How it works
- Your AI calls the tool with the plan's id (from Analyze the plan) and, if it wants, the zone or the center and radius to frame; or with the path of a drawing to see on its own.
- BIMit reads the drawing again, runs the room check again and draws the picture with a legend and the room summary.
- Your AI looks at the picture, shows it to you and tells you what needs correcting.

- "Show me page 2 of the PDF before analyzing it."
What changes and how to undo
Nothing: the tool only makes the picture your AI receives. The drawing, the saved plan and the model stay as they are.
Limits
- The AI level "Read" is enough; you choose the level with the "Level" button on the BIMit tab.
- With "pianta" the coordinates of "zona" and "centro" are in model millimeters (like the plan's); without "pianta", "zona" is in drawing meters.
- The picture's long side goes from 200 to 3000 pixels (default 1400).
- The drawing the plan came from must still be reachable.
