What it does
Reads the scheduled exports of the active model and lists them. For each one it reports:
- id and name;
- whether it is on or off;
- start date and time and repetition (once, weekly with the days, monthly with the day), for example "Weekly: Mon, Fri at 20:00";
- what it exports: the saved selection or the fixed sheets and views (up to 100 in the list);
- whether it exports only sheets and views that are new or whose revision changed;
- the next run (only when on), the last run and its result.
It also gives the export preset file where they are saved. It changes nothing.
How it works
- Your AI asks BIMit for the schedules of the open model.
- BIMit reads the export preset linked to the model and works out the next run of every active schedule.
- You see the list in your AI's answer; the id or name is then used to manage a schedule.
Example requests
- "Which exports are scheduled on this model?"
- "When does the next automatic export run, and how did the last one go?"
- "List the schedules that are turned off."
What changes and how to undo
Nothing: the tool only reads and changes neither the model nor any file. In any case, every change to the model can be undone with Ctrl+Z in Revit.
Limits
Schedules run by themselves only while Revit is open with the model; formats and settings are the model's at the time of the run. If no export preset is linked to the model, the list is empty.
Parameters
No parameters.
